optionally omit storing volume changes for streams

Description

When I want to turn down an application or watch a silent movie and thus turn it up I don't want these volumes to be stored, since they are exceptions.

For example holding the shift key while dragging the volume sliders could disable saving the changes. So next time I don't get unexpectedly loud or silent volume.

While I can't remember off hand how hard this would be to achieve (I think "not very") I also think this would be something that could confuse the user pretty easily... Only those with a very accurate idea of how pulseaudio works and saves volumes will appreciate the ability to override this option. Additionally, people who don't know about it and accidentally trigger this functionality may get confused.

Overall I'm not sure I like this suggestion (but I do like the fact you are suggesting things!) :) I'm somewhat undecided to be honest :s

Lennart, what says you?

First of ll I don't think anyone would understand this mechanism.

Secondly I don't see how the two UI operations "mark next volume change for not saving" and "change the volume" is any quicker/better/more desirable than the two UI operations "change the volume" and "change the volume back".

Either I don't get the idea here, or I am against it... ;-)

It does only apply when you restart the application between different recordings of course. :)
