sound is crackling and clacking with a52encode

i use following .asoundrc:

pcm.a52 {

type a52 @args.0 {

type integer default 0 }

}

then i start pulseaudio, in pavucontrol i set in the control-tab to the new digital-output 5.1 + analog input

and try to play something, this is how it sounds: http://catscrash.info/gnome-testsound2.ogg

with latest version of pulseaudio (test7) it's almost perfect, but every 20 seconds or so there are still some errors in the sound, pulseaudio -v says whenever it happens:
