Strange 44099 Hz resampling

Reported by: WouterBolsterlee Owned by: lennart
Milestone: 0.9.15 Component: daemon
Keywords: Cc: uws+pulseaudio@…

Description

PulseAudio (0.9.14) shows me that the sampling rate has been changed to 44099 Hz, because 44100 Hz is though not to be available. This seems very unlikely to me. Relevant output:

$ pulseaudio
I: caps.c: Limited capabilities successfully to CAP_SYS_NICE.
I: caps.c: Dropping root privileges.
I: caps.c: Limited capabilities successfully to CAP_SYS_NICE.
W: alsa-util.c: Device front:0 doesn't support 44100 Hz, changed to 44099 Hz.

That's a weirdness in your sound driver then. Please file a bug against ALSA!
