Description

Hi everyone !

It's been a while since pulseaudio is integrated in various linux distros but I've never seen it detecting any device on any computer so far... I guess I'm kinda cursed, as it seems to work fine for a lot of people on the internet XD

Since it's not working on my home computer, I can give you some data. What would you wish to know ?

I'd start by debugging your HAL setup. Pulse relies fairly heavily on the HAL system to get a view of the hardware on your machine. Make sure hald is running and that you can connect to is as a regular user via the system dbus.

The output of pulseaudio -vvv attached to this ticket may help debug things.
