Certain hostnames cause invalid tunnel name error

Reported by: ibycus240 Owned by: lennart
Milestone: 0.9.11 Component: daemon
Keywords: Cc:

Description

When trying to use a remote sink, I get the error:

Cannot construct valid device name from credentials of service 'tunnel.some-hostname.local.alsa_input.pci_8086_27d8_sound_card_0_alsa_capture_0'.

Apparently this is because my hostname has a '-' in it. I think that this error is probably therefore due to naive handling of hostnames in pulseaudio.

Lennart, is this fully fixed?

I committed this change in my branch and meant to discuss with you if it should be in trunkHHHHHmaster. I forgot to mention it on IRC.... :s
