Description
I try to run pulseaudio server on winXP and clients on Linux (debian etch). Cookie file is copied from Linux. default.pa on WinXP:
load-module module-native-protocol-tcp listen=0.0.0.0 load-module module-waveout
On Linux side I had set PULSE_SERVER=winxp-ip-address. If I run pactl stat, I get:
Currently in use: 3 blocks containing 188.3 KiB bytes total. Allocated during whole lifetime: 97420 blocks containing 751.2 MiB bytes total. Sample cache size: 0 B User name: Super Host Name: SRCC-ADMIN Server Name: pulseaudio Server Version: 0.9.6 Default Sample Specification: s16le 2ch 44100Hz Default Sink: wave_output Default Source: wave_input Cookie: 6ba2fbbb
Some sounds I can hear, e.g. system bell under Gnome. But I cannot play any music via paplay (pcm wav files) or gstream applications:
$ paplay -v a.wav Using sample spec 's16le 2ch 44100Hz' Connection established. Stream errror: No such entity
