Intermittent problems (Unable to connect)

Description
When I play the exact same audio or video file in audacious, xine or mplayer, I sometimes have this error message (audacious example):
*** PULSEAUDIO: Unable to connect: Invalid argument ERROR: libflacng.so: plugin.c:366 (flac_play_loop): Could not open output plugin!
I'm using pulseaudio-0.9.7
