pavucontrol - source setting of 0% does not mute, and no mute control present

Setting a source to 0% in pavucontrol doesn't mute it (makes it quiet but audible), and there is no per-source mute controls. There should be some way of completely muting a source.

(Not sure if I should have marked this an enhancement request for mute controls, or a defect in the 0% setting!)

That's most likely a limitation of your soundcard. However, PA now also exposes mute controls, so I am not sure if this should still be considered a bug.
